Location: Houghton Golf Club – Johannesburg

The June edition of the Energizer Night Trail Run happens this Wednesday at the Houghton Golf Club. There’s an 8km and 4km option to choose from.

  1. Impi Challenge KZN

Saturday, 4 June

Location: Virginia Trail, Eston, KZN

The Impi Challenge is an adventure muddy trail run for all athletic abilities to enjoy. The race features exhilarating obstacles, mud, music and an amazing festival area. There are 3 distances to choose, giving elites all the way to kiddies a chance to join in the fun.

  1. Wacky Wine Weekend MTB

Saturday, 4 June

Location: Robertson Winery, Western Cape

The 10th edition of the Wacky Wine Festival takes place this weekend. There are 4 distances to choose from: a 70km, 50km, 30km and short 10km ride. Riders are taken through areas one normally can never access; through the scenic vineyards over undulating hills in the Robertson Valley. At the end, each participant older than 18, will receive a bottle of Robertson Winery wine or grape juice and a medal. Participants younger than 18, will receive a bottle of Robertson Winery grape juice.

  1. The Oxpecker Trail Run

Saturday 4 June – Sunday, 5 June

Location: Start: Central Drakensberg – KZN

This two day trail run offers runners an opportunity to run around the historic Spioenkop Mountain and along the banks of the powerful Tugela River; engulfed by the scenic views of the Drakensberg. The first day is a 20km trail run and day 2 is 16km long.

  1. Dolphin Mile Swim Surf Series

Sunday, 5 June

Location: Marine Surf Lifesaving Club, KZN

The course is set, marshalled and patrolled by members of the Marine SLSC safety team. The course start and finish positions are adjusted for Dolphin Mile events, according to prevailing surf conditions and in the best interests of the participating swimmers’ safety.
