Start your weekend with a family weekend at the Serengeti Golf Club. There are three distances to choose from – 15km, 10km and 5km and you don’t need a licence to join.

Location: Camps Drift, Pietermaritzburg
Dusi2C is now in its 4th year. This two day mountain bike stage race starts in Pietermaritzburg, Kwa Zulu Natal. It follows the route of the iconic Dusi Canoe Marathon down the banks of the Umzinduzi and Umgeni rivers. Dusi2C finishes at Blue Lagoon in Durban on the East Coast of South Africa. The experience over the two days and 121km is the focus of this event and it is geared to all levels of cyclists
The Color Run Port Elizabeth

Location: The Boardwalk Festival Lawns, Beach Road, Port Elizabeth
Port Elizabeth is set to get a sprinkling of colour this weekend with the Colour Run. A fun 5km route is the playground for stations of powdered colour which get poured onto runners as they run through. Bring the whole family and join the happiest 5km on the planet

Outeniqua Quest and Harkerville Forest Run
Saturday 11 June – Sunday, 12 June
Location: Start: Fairy Knowe Hotel, Dumbleton Street, Wilderness
This two day trail run offers runners over 100km of pure trails to test them physically and mentally. Runners will traverse sections of the Outeniqua Mountains and the indigenous Forests of Knysna and its surroundings. The race explores the full length of the Outeniqua hiking trail. BELL Big 5 Series # 2 – Empangeni Bolt Centre Leopard Chase
Sunday, 12 June
Location: Addison Park, Empangeni
This is a new addition to Big 5 Series which takes place around the local farm and tribal lands of Empangeni. There’s a 50km, 25km and 10km route giving riders an opportunity to ride on some breath-taking tracks exclusive to this event and not open to the riding public. The venue, Addison Park, has picnicking area, kids playgrounds, hot showers and food so it makes for a great family outing.
