1. Earlier this week, ASA announced the South African Team for the 2017 IAAF World Senior Championships in London. An announcement that has caused an uproar in the athletic community as some athletes who passed IAAF standards, but failed to qualify according to ASA standards were left out of the team, whilst others who also passed IAAF but not ASA standards were put on.
