Celebrating Pantone Greenery this month on Nutreats

Every year Pantone releases a colour of the year. They see it as a “colour snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.”

The Pantone colour of the year informs design trends from fashion to tech to interior design to food and beyond. This year the colour is Pantone 15-0343, or in English – “Greenery”.

Greenery is a colour symbolic of new beginnings – a fresh New Year. It conjures up words beginning with “Re” – refresh, revive, restore, renew, replenish, regenerate, rejuvenate, reinvigorate, re-oxygenate.

It’s the colour of nature and speaks to a desire to return to nature and simplify in an increasingly modern tech driven world.

Greenery is perfectly apt for January. Especially January in the Southern hemisphere, which coincides with summer holidays, when most of our time is spent outdoors, relaxing and rejuvenating for the year ahead.  It’s fresh, full of hope and possibilities, just like a new year.

Greenery evokes new starts, fresh beginnings and the pursuit of your passions. And it’s our chosen theme this month, which will inspire this month’s Nutreats content.

We’ll be sharing a slew of articles that celebrate the idea of “Greenery” as well as images on our social channels. We’d love to see your interpretations of this theme, tag us in your “Greenery” images on Instagram and we’ll share our favourites, which get to feature on our homepage.

To greener pastures…
