Chad Ho on the One Thing You need to Do if You’re Swimming the Midmar Mile
Having won the Midmar mile 7 times, Chad Ho knows a thing or two about how to get through the largest open water race in the world. This weekend he’ll be aiming for his 8th win and a while back we asked him what his best tip for doing the Midmar Mile is.
“Sighting, a lot of the time you see people just putting their heads down and swimming further than they have to because of swimming off course or being pushed by the currents. I suggest looking up more often than not and make sure you are heading in the right direction.”
