Hollard JURA Jozi Urban Run Adventure

Date: Saturday, 2 June and Sunday, 3 June

Location: Marks Park, Emmarentia

Both runners and cyclists can join in in this urban obstacle race. The running portion is on Saturday and the MTB race on Sunday.

Shift Winter Trail Series – Race 2 of 3

Location: Walter Sisulu Gardens

Choose between 3 trail runs or an hour-long yoga session. There’s also a wellness market afterwards.

International Day of Yoga  

Date: Saturday, 16 June

Location: Wanderer’s Stadium

Yoga Works, in collaboration with Mel Castleman Yoga, is inviting Johannesburg to come together on Saturday 16th June 2018 and spend a day sharing the passion and practice of yoga. This event is FREE and open to anyone who is interested in starting their yoga practice as well as regular yogis.

On the day, there will be several group yoga sessions and workshops that will be accessible to everyone of all levels.

You can support the event by doing the ‘108 Sun Salutation Challenge’ (Donation of R108.00) to sponsor yourself or someone else to participate.

There will also be a full children’s yoga program.

All proceeds of this event will be donated to the charity Dlala Nje, which provides the Hillbrow Community Centre with yoga and other activities for the disadvantaged youth in the area.

Gauteng Trail Series  

Date: Sunday, 17 June

Location: B’Sorah

Each Trail Series® consists of four long and short races, complete the full Series by running at least three Championship courses (Long) or three Challenge courses (Short) to receive a medal or simply run one or two races and join the fun. The Gauteng Winter Trail Series® takes place from the 17th of June to the 8th of July 2018 with new runs every weekend.

Location: Joshua Tree Organics, Claremont

This is a participatory workshop where you’ll get hands on making kimchi, kefir, kombucha, sourdough and more. You’ll leave with enough practical experience to go home and start making your own ferments. Participants will also receive cultures.

The Beast Trail Run
