Feige started making this as a feel better drink, which did make us feel better and then just stuck. It’s best in the morning as a soothing and spicy tonic but works anytime. You can also turn it into a hot toddy and evening tonic by adding a shot of whiskey.
I juice a big batch of ginger for the week just for this, however if you don’t have a juicer, you can buy fresh ginger shots and use that instead. But please use fresh, not bottled lemon juice!
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ tablespoon fresh ginger juice
- 1-2 teaspoon honey to taste
- hot water
- Add all the ingredients to a mug and mix well. Enjoy hot.
