For those days you want an egg and a bowl of oats. Not the most common combination but it’s delicious and incredibly filling. Save this for mornings when you’re appetites ravenous.
Protein Boosted Savoury Oats [Gluten and Dairy Free]
- 1/2 cup rolled oats (gluten free)
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 egg
- pinch Salt
- 2 poached eggs
- 1 avocado sliced
- fresh strawberries sliced
- Combine oats, water, eggs and salt in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer on medium to low heat. Let simmer until the water is just absorbed and the oats have thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Divide between 2 bowls and top with avo, strawberries and a poached egg.
