The coldest week of the year (thus far) seems the appropriate time to write about crop tops. But it’s gut month and what better to show off the external affects of a healthy gut than with a form fitting crop top. I’ve often wondered if anyone works out in crop tops or they’re there strictly for the gram. For me, the less I wear, the harder I work out, you know to justify the lack of clothing. The perfect workout crop in my opinion is one with a higher neckline (hide cleavage, show abs), simple structure and no lace or intricate detailing – I’m working out not auditioning for a music video.
Below are the latest crop of crop tops for your perusal
The Mod Look Crop Top

I had visions of Twiggy when I saw this black and white crop that pair perfectly with a pair of high waist leggings and a Barre Class.
The I’m not a bralette Crop Top

I love this because it looks like it’s got the comfort of a bralette but with added support, and grey and pink is a colour combo I don’t do enough of. I imagine it would go well with a BBG legs session, with the matching shorts of course.
The white Crop Top

White crop tops don’t get enough gym time. This one has a peekaboo keyhole, apparently for breathability; but what I really like is that it’s high enough to wear alone, but low enough to wear under a breezy muscle tank for an afternoon time trial.
The Yoga Crop

I have a thing for color blocked items such as this yoga crop. It’s longer length, making it perfect for twisting and hanging upside down without anything hanging out. I’d also wear it
with blue leggings for a hike.
The ‘The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow’ Crop

This is the type of crop you should be wearing on the greyest day when you need something to brighten your day and you know its not going to be the sun. It’s pair perfectly with sweat crops and a switch class, cause you know yellow.
The Flower Power Crop

If the trees aren’t blooming your crop may as well be. It’d go with these mix print leggings and a SWEAT 100 class, where you can never be too colourful.
The Crossfit Crop

I don’t do crossfit, but I’d still wear this crop, on repeat. It’s got that minimal sleek “wear every day” look that would pair these boxing shorts and a Boxfit class.
The clashed Crop

Maaji makes prints that shouldn’t go yet somehow do, case in point this mixed print pastel crop. Pair it with black tights and a pilates class.
The Longer Length Crop

Are
Is it a bra, is it a top? We may never know. What I do know is paired with joggers and a zip up hoodie I’d need a dog to take walking.
